The Hudson Cloverleafs project stands as a benchmark for modern urban infill, recognized as a 2025 AIA Seattle Award Winner. Located in one of Seattle's evolving residential pockets, this development translates complex zoning challenges into a high-performance housing solution that prioritizes both density and architectural integrity. As the Strategic Advisor and Owner’s Representative, Bridgewright navigated the intricate entitlements and "mighty" small-fund logistics required to bring this vision to life.
The project’s core philosophy revolves around "cloverleaf" orientation—a strategic site plan that maximizes natural light, ventilation, and privacy for each unit while maintaining a collective community feel. By utilizing verticality and a sophisticated material palette of dark metal cladding paired with warm wood accents, the design achieves a "levity" that respects the neighborhood scale while offering a bold, contemporary silhouette.

Modern Indoor-Outdoor Living in the Hamptons
This project represents a study in architectural "levity," transforming a private Amagansett backyard into a high-performance sanctuary. As the Owner’s Representative and construction lead, Bridgewright oversaw every detail of this new-construction addition, ensuring a seamless transition from the main residence to the poolside oasis in both design and function.
The cabana’s architecture utilizes a solid-to-void concept—a deliberate shift from the private, enclosed volumes housing the bath and changing rooms to the fully open, light-filled entertainment spaces. This balance allows the structure to feel anchored yet transparent, sitting naturally within the coastal woodland.

Our restoration process treats every structure as a generational legacy. We specialize in the meticulous repair of Wissahickon schist, heavy timber framing, and period-correct millwork, ensuring that the original character of these landmarks is preserved for the next century. Receive an outline of the project plan, and a preliminary sketch to support continued refinement of the vision and provide clarity about who else you might need to bring in to the conversation to realize your vision. Be it a structural engineer, an architect, a land use attorney, or an interiors designer, we are glad to lead or support the process however is most appropriate for the project.
Solution Session | 2 one-hour calls (or site visits)
We will provide expert guidance on next steps to solve the nuisance noise, water intrusion, saggy floor, quirky electrical, low quality tile install, or questionable DIY repairs by the last homeowner. If there is a quick solution in-house to get an issue taken care we will let you know the costs, or give you the contact for who you need and then follow up to ensure complete resolution.
